About us
Two people. A shared passion for clocks.
All the things that accompany us deserve appreciation. They bring together materials, human ideas and craftsmanship. A clock is made to show the time and be part of our everyday lives.
A clock can become something personal: it may be given for a wedding or the birth of a child, accompany a family for many years and perhaps be passed on. Its signs of use tell part of that journey, even when we do not know every story.
A clock brings us face to face with two sides of time: the years in which it has accompanied people, and the time it shows us each day.
Clocks measure something we cannot repeat: our time. We can use it, enjoy it, spend it together or let it pass. We cannot bring it back.
That is why we restore historic clocks. We want to preserve their engineering and design and allow them to keep running. They do not need to look new; their marks belong to their history. With every person a clock accompanies in the future, another chapter is added.
Some clocks stay with us. Not because they are especially rare or valuable, but because we know their history and have grown fond of them.
